Children at Culverstone Primary are taught to be responsible for their surroundings by being involved in development of the grounds.
We are currently carrying out a project to improve the play equipment provided during playtimes.
Children have been involved in improvement of the pond area in the grounds and their ideas are taken into account via class discussion and the School Council.
We are lucky enough to have extensive grounds at the school.
The pupils do gardening and help to care for the grounds.
Outdoor Education forms a part of our Physical Education syllabus. We aim to use our grounds all year round.
