Welcome to Culverstone Green Nursery
We have been established for 30 years situated in the grounds of Culverstone Green Primary School. We provide care and education for children from the age of 2 years until starting school. We are a community based Nursery governed by a committee of volunteers, made up of parents and members of the community. We are a member of the Pre-School Learning Alliance and a registered charity (801359).
Teaching and learning are outstanding. The highly qualified and enthusiastic staff team enhances all aspects of children’s learning. The rich, stimulating and vibrant learning environment ensures all children are eager to learn. Children make excellent progress.
At Culverstone Nursery we provide a safe, stimulating warm and friendly environment where children can feel secure to thrive and reach their full potential.
We deliver a broad and varied curriculum following the Early Years Foundation Stage that enables us to differentiate for all children’s individual needs.
We appreciate that children learn in a variety of ways so we operate a free flow policy. This enables children to learn both indoors and outdoors following their individual interests and schemas.
Learning & Development
We believe that working in partnership with parents is paramount as they are a child’s foremost educator. This partnership enables children to settle in quickly, feeling confident and secure within the Nursery. This has a positive impact on children’s learning and development. The rich, stimulating and vibrant learning environment ensures all children are eager to learn. Children make excellent progress.
