Primary School Places – How to Apply

Determined Admission Arrangements

If your child is due to start primary, infant or junior school in 2017 you can appeal between 18 April and 17 May 2017 to guarantee that your appeal will be heard by 19 July 2017.  For applications made in the normal admission round, appeals must be heard within 40 school days of the deadline for lodging appeals.  For late applications, appeals should be heard within 40 schools days from the deadline for lodging appeals where possible, or within 30 schools days of the appeals being lodged.

Applications are processed by KCC Admissions between 17 January and 17 April 2017. 

KCC Admissions will email you on 18 April 2017 after 4pm to tell you which school you have been offered. They cannot guarantee the exact time you will receive your email, this will depend on your email service provider. You can also log in to view your offer from 5pm. If you applied by post they will send your offer by first class post on 18 April 2016.
